Italian restaurant and wine and cocktail bar Isola on Shelter Island is in full swing for the summer season. The menu highlights the East End’s local bounty with produce and seafood sourced from local farms and fisheries including Sylvester Manor, Southold Fish Market, and North Fork Smoked Fish Company. The seasonally focused New Italian restaurant is helmed by chef Seth Nathan.
“Our seasonal dishes feature the freshest ingredients the East End has to has to offer, giving guests a true taste of Shelter Island living,” says Chef Seth Nathan, who also adds nuances from his culinary background in Spain and California’s Wine Country to Isola’s menus. “Locally sourcing our menu is an incredible way to discover and celebrate the local fare of the East End, as well as offer our guests the culinary experience of farm-to-table with every dish.”
Try gourmet brick oven pizzas like the Margherita, Calabrese, and Nuvola. Classic pasta dishes like Spaghetti Pomodoro or Pappardelle Bolognese are a must. Indulge in the Ribeye Fiorentina with duck fat potatoes and dressed greens or the local market fish. Whatever you choose, it’s sure to be delicious.
