Waking from their own winter hibernation, our favorite farm stands are reopening now that spring is in bloom and we near the summer season starting next month. Here are some of our picks for the spring:

Sang Lee Farms in Peconic is now open 9 to 5 p.m. every day, offering certified organic fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, dips, salad dressings, and more. Schmitt’s Farm Country Fresh will start selling fruits, vegetables, and flowers in Laurel again in the beginning of May, as will Country View Farm Stand in Southold. Sep’s Farm stand in East Marion will open again once there is asparagus ready to cut. Garden of Eve in Riverhead has been open this month offering organic vegetables and herbs (learn more in the next issue of North Fork Real Estate Showcase!). A popular North Fork favorite is Lavender by the Bay in East Marion, now open on weekends. Now is a great time to stock up on these local favorites.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
