30th Annual East End Maritime Festival at Greenport Village

September 20, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm September 21 & September 22, 10 am – 5 pm Join us for the 30th annual celebration of local maritime heritage. The Annual Greenport Maritime Festival is hosted by the East End Seaport & Marine Foundation in partnership with the Village of Greenport. The Festival begins on Friday night with the Land and Sea Gala cocktail party. Saturday morning’s parade through downtown Greenport kicks off the festival at 11 am, followed by grand displays of classic wooden boats, kayak races, demonstrations of high tech water sports, wood carving and model ship building, music, delicious food, high end artisanal vendors, children’s activities, fresh oysters, craft beers and local wines. The evening brings music and dancing in Mitchell Park and screenings of original movies. On Sunday there are more family friendly activities throughout the village, including a chowder contest and old-fashioned games in Mitchell Park. East End Seaport Museum, www.eastendseaport.org

Apple Festival 

September 14 & September 15,9 am – 6 pm Join us for Harbes Orchard’s Annual Apple Festival. Don’t miss two fun-filled days of apple activities for the whole family. As part of the apple festivities, there will be hosted apple games throughout the day. Everyone will have fun competing in one of the exciting matches. There will be apple cider donut eating contests, apple rolling competitions and plenty of apple picking too. The 15-acre apple orchard has apples that are even within reach of the smallest of hands. 16TH Annual Long Island Garlic Festival

Pumpkin Festival

September 28 & September 29, 10 am – 6 pm Come celebrate the grand seasonal opening of the Barnyard Pumpkin Patch during the 30th Anniversary Season at Harbes Family Farm.
