Breitenbach Farm Stand Opens

A little red farm stand on Aquebogue’s Main Road has reopened under the guidance of farming brothers Kyle and Emil (junior) Breitenbach. As with many generational families on the North Fork, the brothers have their own farming roots as their father was a third-generation farmer in his day before becoming a police officer. Farming had always remained part of the family’s lifestyle, and now the brothers are putting their own touch on the property first owned by locally famous Skelly Doroski.

Breitenbach Farms stand will offer fresh-picked Long Island grown produce like carrots, cabbage, potatoes, and leafy greens. Find a selection of colorful flowers and plants for the yard and home. Stock the pantry with delicious jams and local honey. Hot tea and coffee brewed on-site are perfect to enjoy while you browse the various farm fresh offerings. Now through November, the farm stand is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Learn more here.
