Rosemary Batcheller Joins Douglas Elliman
Former Village Cheese Shop owner Rosemary Batcheller has joined Douglas Elliman in Mattituck as a licensed real estate salesperson. Having been in retail for more than 25 years, she always felt real estate would be something she loved. Between being busy, working with people and assisting them in purchasing what they want, the transition is a natural one for her. “The biggest difference is the inventory involved and the number of people involved in each transaction,” Batcheller shares. “It takes many hardworking people to successfully bring together a real estate deal and already knowing many of the people involved has helped ease my transition, which in turn has helped my clients. Whether it’s agents, attorneys, bank personnel, landscapers, electricians, or builders there was/is already a foundational relationship to ease what can be a joyful yet stressful time in a buyer or seller’s life. I am blessed to have been welcomed into this community of hardworking professionals, who do it so well they make a tough job look easy!”
