We love summer on the North Fork, but sometimes the towns and villages are just a little too crowded on the weekends. Weekdays are a great time to explore and get the same wonderful East End experience. Here’s a few places we suggest waiting until Wednesday to visit…
Lavender by the Bay draws massive crowds on the weekends. Take in the tranquil sights and smells midweek. Get in a round of mini golf and great fried chicken or other Korean-inspired snacks at Jennie’s at Drossos (closed Tuesdays). Breakfast and lunch are served every day at Love Lane Kitchen. Though you’re bound to find people on the beach no matter what day of the week you go, weekdays are likely to be a little less crowded, ensuring you find your own great spot in the sun. Visit Harbes Family Farm and sip wine in the tasting barn after your barnyard adventure. Any vineyard midweek is a must for that matter!
