Wine is fine, but harvest season on the North Fork is just as fun at the local breweries. There seem to be new places opening every year and we are excited to taste all of the best brews these places have to offer. Here’s what you can expect on tap this season…
Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. is a staple on the East End as one of the founders of local beer culture. Visit their first location on Carpenter Street, which also features an art gallery, or visit the massive Peconic Tasting Room for family fun activities and the restaurant with Chef Greg Ling now at the helm. Newly opened is the North Fork Brewing Company in Riverhead, which emphasizes a local product by making many of their beers with regard to seasonal produce and uniquely grown crops and yeast found throughout the region. Find fun brews on tap at Crooked Ladder in Riverhead and sip later into the evening at Jamesport Farm Brewery.
