From Orient to Riverhead and beyond, local farms are stocked up with in-season harvest goodies like cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, squash, and even some pumpkins perfect for soups, pies, and cakes.
Bayview Farm in Aquebogue sells a number of specialty items in addition to fruits and vegetables. They often carry fresh baked pies and bread, and Tate’s Bake Shop cookies. Pick up local cheeses and meats, like Crescent Farms duck, or fresh pasta products. They also sell Really Good fruit spreads, eggs, dairy, and everything else you need for a local home cooked meal. The 200-acre farm has been owned and operated by seven generations of the Reeve family for more than 200 years. They have a little bit of everything – even Christmas trees come the season![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
