NOW OPEN IN GREENPORT

Memorial Day was the unofficial start to summer and if the weekend crowds were any indication, it’s going to be a busy one! Over the weekend several businesses officially opened their doors, some for the first time, in the seaside walking village of Greenport. Here’s a look at what’s new and who’s back for summer…

Enjoy an apertivo on the dock overlooking Greenport Harbor at Barba Bianca, back for its third season, before enjoying the restaurant’s regional Italian fare. Claudio’s underwent a major renovation, making over the various establishments. The menu is largely the same in the new, brighter spaces. Tropical vibes can be found inside the small but lively Kon Tiki. The Menhaden hotel’s restaurant and café, The Merchant’s Wife, made their North Fork debut. Anker, an elevated, modern seafood restaurant occupying the former Deep Water Bar and Grille restaurant opened its new and improved two-story space. We’re still awaiting the opening of Ellen’s on Front and Pearl, coming soon!
