NORTH FORK FIREWORKS
Independence Day is this Thursday, and the North Fork has already begun to celebrate with fireworks shows over land and sea. Following the kick off of the Riverhead Business Improvement District’s Alive on 25 Summer Street Festival on Wednesday, July 3, fireworks will light up the night sky. Find a seat on the beach or take the boat out to watch fireworks over the water in Orient Harbor on Saturday, July 6. Boaters can also meet outside the channel at Port of Egypt and follow the leader to raft-up and enjoy the spectacular fireworks show from the water. Next weekend, Shelter Island Fireworks will do their annual display at Crescent Beach on Saturday, July 13.
Fireworks are not exclusive to July 4, after all. Catch the show at the Famous Food Festival at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead on Saturday, August 10.
