NEW HOME FOR RAY DESIGN SHOP
Ray design shop, featuring vintage décor, original prints, and material objects has found a new home in Greenport at 15 Front Street in the former North Fork Art Collective space. The bright, open, design-centric look of the new shop has been an attraction for many customers, with this new central location adding a little diversity to one of the busiest parts of the Village of Greenport. While the product offering remains the same with art, framed prints, Mid-Century décor, design books, and handmade jewelry, proprietor Michael Aron and creative director Nola Lopez have also expanded with 145 works on the walls and 125 items on shelves organized by various themes.
“We have a wonderful collection of 62 original vintage posters from the Greenport Theatre, the Sky-Way Drive-In Theatre, and other vernacular event posters promoting Greenport’s Halloween Parade, Turkey Dinners, and the random dance at the Sea Shell Inn,” Aron shares. The shop is open daily.
