SYLVESTER MANOR FOODIE FRIDAYS
Foodie Fridays are back at the Sylvester Manor Farmstand on Shelter Island this week. From 4 to 7:30 p.m. this Friday, June 21, Homeslice Pizza, a 50-inch mobile wood-fired pizza oven on a military trailer, will be onsite making various fresh and delicious pizzas, including a special Windmill Field pizza using herbs and produce from the farm. Visitors can take their favorite pies to go or bring cold beverages to enjoy at the farm’s picnic tables. The Farmstand is also open late so people can pick up produce and eggs from the Manor and other locally sourced goodies.
The Sylvester Manor Farmstand is open to all. In addition to their own just-picked produce and colorful bouquets, visitors can find goods from other local East End vendors. From the North Fork, find Browder’s Birds of Mattituck, Catapano Dairy Farm of Peconic, Goodale Farms on Riverhead, and Wickham’s Fruit Farm of Cutchogue, among others.
