Get your taco fix in Mattituck with the new and officially open Mattitaco. Touting “whaley good tacos,” the casual eatery has popped up in the former Crazy Fork space to offer an assortment of tacos and other Mexican-American fare by Justin Schwartz who also operates Noah’s on the Road airstream food truck. What makes this soon-to-be popular spot even better? They are open for breakfast beginning at 8 a.m.!
Try avocado toast on torta with house-made soft cheese requeson or breakfast tacos including papas, chorizo and eggs; corned beef hash and eggs, and avocado, cheese and eggs. For lunch try the Farm to Taco with Latham’s roasted sweet potato, field onions, sweet corn, cabbage, and lime aioli or the Baja with crispy New England cod, pico de gallo, cabbage, and lime aioli. Closed Mondays and Wednesdays.
