KNOW YOUR LIBRARY

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]There’s some about a library book that just feels different. Whether it’s combing the shelves for a novel on your reading list, or casually browsing the aisles and scanning through stacks to find what may be your next favorite, the silent calm of libraries on the North Fork is an easy, welcomed retreat. With more than five to choose from, getting to know your local library is easy.

Many offer winter programs as well to help break up what can sometimes be dreary weeks. Check out The Book Cottage shop (which reopens this week) or go for a winter walk at the Southold Free Library, or join a book club at Shelter Island Public Library. Enjoy author talks and gallery openings at Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport, and practice yoga and aerobics at Mattituck Laurel Library. Or, simply delve into a good book at these and other hometown spots this winter. Happy reading.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
