[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Just last month the long-awaited opening of The Halyard restaurant came to Greenport. Recently renovated to highlight what very well may be the best water views on the North Fork, the bright, open, airy space is open daily as part of The Sound View’s major renovation project under new ownership. Guests are sure to enjoy with beautiful new rooms at the hotel, events, and a new menu by Chef Galen Zamarra of NYC’s Mas Farmhouse.

Try smoked bluefish salad with New England brown bread, watercress, and cucumbers; lobster beignet of battered knuckles and comeback sauce; bucket of fried chicken with corn on the cob, mac-n-cheese, and biscuit; and so many other great comfort food dishes to keep you warm through the fall and winter months. The bar has some pretty cool cocktails too, and a nice beer and wine selection. Added bonus: unbeatable sunsets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
