Downtown Riverhead will transform into a spooky town for Halloween Fest 2018 on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28. Day and night, attendees can take part in activities from trick or treating to contests to events. Businesses and residents alike can join in decorating the area’s light posts as part of a contest. Create your own cardboard coffin and compete in the annual race with your friends in costume. Bring your carved pumpkin to the festival and be part of the jack o’ lantern walk. There will also be a painted pumpkin patch, entertainment, a parade, restaurant specials, and nighttime specials with events, balls, and concerts.
