This Saturday, November 17 the Greenport Farmers Winter Market will open in a new location. Right in the heart of the village at 414 First Street, shoppers can pick up local goods on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
From Catapano Farms, find fruits, veggies, plants, chickens, and eggs from their Southold Farm. They also offer goat cheese, including chevre, ricotta and feta, as well as goat milk yogurt and soap. Alice’s Fish Market is a family owned commercial fishing operation that supplies the East End with the freshest fish possible, straight from their dock to your plate. You don’t have to go to the vineyard to pick up some great local vintages. Suhru Wines will be back and is offering youthful, innovative, and vibrant wines that showcase the characteristics of New York grapes. Many other vendors from the summer market will be back.
