What would the Fourth of July be without fireworks? With the holiday in the middle of the week, events are spread out across the North Fork. Here are some of our picks to celebrate Independence Day…
We could think of few things cooler than watching a fireworks display over the water. Follow the leader by boat and join Port of Egypt Marine for a raft-up near Crescent Beach, Shelter Island on Saturday, July 7. Check out the Greenport Fire Department carnival and catch a fireworks show on Thursday, July 5 and Saturday, July 7. There will also be a carnival in Wading River with fireworks on Friday, July 6. Riverhead’s popular Alive on 25 returns this Thursday and will coincide with the Business Improvement District’s annual Independence Day fireworks. July 4th parades will also take place on Wednesday in New Suffolk and Southold. However you celebrate all things red, white, and blue, we’re thankful for our freedom today and every day.
