Saturday, September 8 marks the beginning of the 20th annual Fall Festival at the Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow. Dress in your autumn favorites and sit outdoors to enjoy your favorite cool-weather fare. Think fire-roasted corn, bratwurst with slow braised German sauerkraut, chicken pot pie, barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, potato pancakes, autumn harvest clam, chowder, crab cake sandwiches, baby back ribs, and roasted barbecue chicken. If that’s not tempting enough, you can also sip on craft local, festive beers, wine, and cocktails.
It’s a family fun event, so be sure to bring the kids for face painting, pumpkin painting, pony rides, and a huge hay playground.
