It has been almost a year since the Sound View hotel and restaurant underwent major renovations and changes, including the opening of The Halyard restaurant. More than just spectacular water and sunset views, this East End staple hosts several events that focus on why people love the North Fork – connecting with the beauty of nature. Here are some ongoing things they have going on both locals and visitors have the chance to enjoy:
Weekly group meditations are complimentary and take place on Mondays on the deck, beach, or in one of the new gathering rooms, depending on the weather. There are also evening meditations on Thursdays. Explore the osprey sanctuary at Arshamomaque Pond Preserve on the Rise + Shine walk. On select Wednesdays explore your creativity with plein air painting on the Sound View’s private beach with The South Street Gallery. Practice yoga by the water with The Giving Room for Salutations on the Sound. Find more to do all summer long here.
