Every summer downtown Riverhead offers free festivals to showcase local craft beverages, downtown restaurants, live music, artists, street vendors and numerous other activities to enjoy for Alive on 25. Local bars and restaurants will host various bands for live music. On July 18, Art in the Park, Reflextions will light up Grangabel Park on the Peconic River at dusk with lit sculptures, black light art, and more. The festival also includes classic car shows on Peconic Avenue, six stages with live music, kids’ activities like face painting, more than a dozen food trucks, and more than 80 vendors showcasing their wares.

Remaining dates for these Thursday evening festivals include July 18, August 1, and August 15 with an August 22 rain date. The family-friendly event draws thousands of visitors each year.
