65th Annual Strawberry Festival

June is strawberry season on the North Fork! Celebrating this beloved crop, the Mattituck Lions Club is hosting the 65th Annual Strawberry Festival this Father’s Day weekend. Volunteer to hull sweet and delicious strawberries on Thursday to kick off the event. Check out the carnival and stay for fireworks. Dig into the strawberry shortcake, sample the strawberries dipped in chocolate, or just try the strawberries any way you like them. Enjoy live music and check out the wares available from arts and crafts vendors. As part of the tradition, a new Strawberry Queen will be crowned on Saturday, later followed by the grand finale fireworks. On Sunday, fathers get to enjoy the rides for free.

The carnival also serves as the Mattituck Lions Club’s charitable efforts, including their mission of helping the blind. They also support a wide array of community and nonprofit organizations.
