Long Island Winterfest breaks up the cool of winter with jazz, blues, soul, rock, and country music performances at vineyards, breweries, and distilleries, as well as select restaurants and event venues on weekends now through March 18. This week we’re highlighting the different places and specials going on this weekend. First up: what’s happening at the wineries.
Clovis Point Vineyard in Jamesport will offer a private wine tasting with winemaker John Leo on this Saturday and Sunday. With only 25 seats available, the tasting will highlight Chardonnay. Also on, Saturday, join Martha Clara Vineyards winemaker Juan E. Micieli-Martinez for a masterclass focusing on burgundy, or take a day trip to the Hamptons for a VIP tour and barrel tasting at Wölffer Estate Vineyard with winemaker Roman Roth.
