Up Stirrs At Claudio’s


After an extensive renovation to the waterfront properties of Claudio’s in Greenport, a new bar and lounge has opened on the second floor of the main restaurant. Up Stirrs is a new and fully renovated space with a bar featuring 28 craft cocktails infused with local ingredients by beverage director Brian Sassen. Crafted to inspire and educate, cocktails include the Hotel Nacional, a Cuban classic named after the famous Havana hotel from the 1930s, are also offered with a modern twist like the Atlantis which replaces rum and apricot with genever and mastiha.  All ingredients and mixers are either juiced fresh in-house or made from scratch, including all syrups.

The warm and inviting space caters to industry, locals, and visitors, with a lineup of great music. The bar aims to stay open year-round. Friday late nights will feature live music or DJ beginning at 10 p.m. The bar will stay open until 2 a.m. Pizzeria Baccano also recently opened on the Claudio’s property, serving Brooklyn-style pizza pies and slices by the water.
