Spring At PawPaw In Greenport

A popup restaurant and gathering space, PawPaw is a unique culinary experience with chef Taylor Knapp and Katelyn Knapp at the helm. A series of Saturday evening dinners are planned for April and May at Greenport’s Bruce and Son restaurant. Two seatings, multiple courses, and optional wine pairings make for a dinner comprised of local ingredients and interesting flavor combinations. The seasonal menu highlights what is farmed, fished, and foraged on Long Island.

Sample dishes include duck egg churro with black garlic crema; raw Peconic Bay scallops dressed with white pine, celery root, buttermilk, and nasturtium; pork belly glazed with sumac, with ground corn, sour greens, and duck broth; and milk cake and pear with whole egg. Dinners are $65 per person and must be reserved in advance here. On Saturday, April 13 the PawPaw team is partnering with Moustache Brewing Co. for a special beer pairing dinner, which will include nine courses. This dinner is $85 per person.
