Pawpaw Pop-up

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]You may have read about this in our June issue of North Fork Real Estate Showcase, but here’s a gentle reminder that you need to check out PAWPAW. The North Fork popup restaurant makes a weekly appearance inside Bruce’s in Greenport. Chef Taylor Knapp creates a multitude of interesting, likely new-to-many tastes of different dishes representative of the local bounty. Think lamb tartar with pickled green peppercorns, mint, and puffed parsnip chips and burdock wrapped cod with smoked snails.

It’s a delicious venture Chef Knapp has been doing for a couple of years alongside his wife, photographer Katelynn Knapp. The experimental dishes are served on select Saturday evenings in two seatings. As space is limited to offer the best experience, reservations are required. The menu changes weekly (last week included an add-on of a mouthwatering foie gras dish, pictured here).
