With winter storm Grayson on its way to add insult to injury in this bitter cold, our main concern is how we are going to keep warm and ride it out. This week we’re featuring ways to keep warm on the North Fork. Luckily, there are plenty of things to do – even in January – that are sure to heat you up. First up, let’s kick those New Year’s resolutions into gear with a little exercise.

New Year or not, exercise is something you should consider not just for your physical well-being, but for your mental health, too. Whether it’s yoga at North Fork Yoga Shala in Greenport, spin class at JABS in Cutchogue or Riverhead, CrossFit at Fitness Advantage in Southold, or no-mercy boot camp at BodyRite Training in Jamesport, there’s a class for everyone at every level. Classes are a great, motivational way to get and stay active. Oh, and it’ll heat you up pretty nice as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
