Embrace the bald look for a good cause. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. One of their creative fundraising efforts are head-shaving events. Hosting their first ever St. Baldrick’s Day event this Sunday, March 31 is Long Ireland Beer Company.
Whether you’re getting a shave or just want to witness the fun, from 2 to 6 p.m. participants can watch as people get their heads shaved to help fund childhood cancer research. Shavees that raise more than $50 will receive a commemorative t-shirt and their first pint on the house. Those skipping the shave can still help raise these necessary funds by donating in advance here. Be a hero for kids with cancer!
