At Port Waterfront Bar and Grill in Greenport, they do not mess around when it comes to food. The Caribbean-inspired seafood menu features several lobster dishes, local and fresh fish and shellfish, and of course some meat and vegetarian options for landlubbers. They also have an “Experts Only” menu that features some serious dishes that we suggest sharing.
Crispy whole fish tacos feature a head-on, tail-on fried whole fresh fish served with a stack of warm corn tortillas, mango salsa, roasted corn salad, and garlic mojo aioli. Try the footlong lobster roll, either traditional style with lemon aioli or brown butter style with miso aioli, pickled celery, and green apples. Memphis barbecue short ribs of 16-ounce braised bone-in beef short rib with jalapeño corn waffle and house-made slaw is another option. However, what stands out the most is the Nickle Lobster Roll – a two-foot, overstuffed lobster roll with foie gras butter aioli topped with caviar and served with truffle fries and bottle of cold Dom Perignon or Veuve Clicquot. Oh, it’s only $500.
