EIn the blink of an eye they opened, then closed. Following months of delays, Eastern Front Brewing Co. in Mattituck has finally opened their tasting room doors to the public. Couple and owners Douglas Pearsall and Christina Oman took a rustic approach in designing the 800-square-foot space, with warm, inviting, and elegant touches. The large bar top was fashioned out of claimed wood by Pearsall, who also made the five tap handles.
Pearsall’s brews are not new – they had been sold on tap at local restaurants since he began brewing in 2015. Beer lovers can expect to find a brown ale, stout, lager, and more with witty names like Anomalous Ale, Sexy MF Stout, and Miami Weiss, a wheat beer. Seasonal brews will also be offered in rotation. The tasting room is located at 13100 Main Road in Mattituck. For select hours, click here.
