Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul, and Mary) & Melanie – Folk Icons!

August 25, 7:30 pm

Two of folk music’s most esteemed and legendary names join together for one magic night on the East End with special guests! Peter, Paul & Mary’s own Peter Yarrow made music history, helping create the folk revival of the 1960s with hits such as PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON and IF I HAD A HAMMER, among many others. Shortly thereafter – folk-rock legend Melanie picked up the folk music mantle in the late 60s and 70s – opening Woodstock with CANDLES IN THE RAIN, and ultimately scoring her biggest hit with THE BICYCLE SONG – and providing the world with other hits including LOOK WHAT THEY’VE DONE TO MY SONG, MA, RUBY TUESDAY, and more. Tickets: $65.
