Renovated and decorated in a contemporary fashion with comfortable beds and furnishings, it features three guest rooms with private baths. Full breakfast is served in the dining room. Relax on the front porch or out back by the fire pit. On 2.5 acres, close to vineyards and bay beaches, it is a very quiet, peaceful retreat.

The Belvedere Bed & Breakfast in Peconic, owned by Lee and Marie Beninati, was originally constructed in the 1860s. This elegant Italianate Victorian Manor on 2.1 acres has four guest rooms with private baths. Featuring museum quality 11-foot fresco ceilings, a gourmet eat-in kitchen, seven fireplaces, a full basement with wine tasting room and gym, a Roman-style swimming pool, outdoor entertainment area, and magnificent English gardens. 

A Walk in the Woods Bed & Breakfast in Southold, owned by Florence Pellicano, is a Dutch Colonial house built in 1997 on 11 secluded acres. Decorated in a Victorian style, it features two guest rooms and two large suites each with private baths. The Oak Suite, a private suite with private entrance, is great for families and includes a sleeping loft. Enjoy a full breakfast in the dining room or relax on the wrap-around front porch. Kids enjoy watching the two miniature horses. Located near Cedar Beach. 

Shorecrest Bed & Breakfast in Southold, owned by Marilyn Marks, President of the North Fork Bed & Breakfast Association (NFBBA), was originally built in the 1860s. This historic home is a shingle-style house with large floor to ceiling windows. Completely modernized, it features five guest rooms with private baths. Elegantly decorated with collected artworks, textiles, and vintage furniture. A full breakfast is served on vintage china with family silver and fine stemware. An avid gardener, Marilyn’s gorgeous perennial gardens are reminiscent of her native English countryside. On one acre overlooking Long Island Sound, it has two private beaches.

in Greenport, owned by Jack and Diane Gilmore, is a Classic Revival style mansion, built in 1908 by John Bartlett. Completely renovated, it features eight guest rooms with private baths and two suites with a Jack & Jill bath. Each room has its own style, including French, English, Asian, and Edwardian with very eclectic furnishings. A 75-foot wrap-around porch seats at least 24 guests. A full breakfast includes a large hot and cold buffet. In the heart of Greenport Village, you can walk to shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Harbor Knoll Bed & Breakfast on Greenport Harbor, owned by Leueen Miller, is a Dutch Colonial house built in 1870. Completely renovated, it is decorated with old English furnishings in an Old Country Manor style. Features three guest rooms with private baths and a separate cottage. A full breakfast is served on the front porch or in the dining room. On one acre with beautifully landscaped gardens, it has a private beach, dock, and spectacular views!

Ruby’s Cove Bed & Breakfast in the seaport village of Greenport is a grand and eclectic Victorian home built in 1837. Charmingly decorated from the 1920s and ’30s, it features three guest rooms with private baths. A full breakfast is served at 10 a.m. (coffee at 8) with famous “Ruby’s Red Rumrunner French Toast.” The wrap-around porch and large common areas invite fun and relaxation. Free bikes. No TVs. Only “127 steps to Main Street” for dockside dining, cocktails, and shopping. Located next door to Greenport Harbor Brewing Company. Close to Shelter Island Ferry, Hampton Jitney, and LIRR.

Quintessentials Bed & Breakfast and Spa in East Marion, owned by Sylvia Daley, was originally a sea captain’s house, built by Captain Leek in the 1840s. Listed in the Society for the Preservation of Long Island Antiquities (SPLIA). Fully modernized, it features five guest rooms with private baths, fireplaces, and decks. Full breakfast includes Sylvia’s signature dish “Corn Beef Hash.” Enjoy afternoon tea in the Tea House. Relax at the only B&B with a full service spa. On one acre, close to both bay and sound beaches. Voted “Best Bed & Breakfast/Inn” by Dan’s Papers in 2013.
