Sustainable Lifestyle Workshop in Cutchogue

Group for the East End is offering a Sustainable Lifestyle Workshop on Tuesday, September 19 in the Nature Center at Downs Farm Preserve in Cutchogue from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The workshop will explain the benefits of limiting the amount of plastic consumers purchase, reducing the use of pesticides and harmful chemicals from your daily routine, and promote living a more sustainable life. Participants will also learn the benefits of homemade products while making their own!

Recipes will include toothpaste, body scrubs, and more. The Group, which promotes the protection and restoration of the East End through advocacy and education hosts a number of programs throughout the year, including workshops, nature walks, hikes, story time, and more. Additional upcoming workshops promoting a natural lifestyle include a Traditional Herbal Remedies series beginning Thursday, September 21.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
