Rocco’s Caddyshack Opens in Greenport
Old Greenport staple Skipper’s Restaurant was purchased in 2015 by Bryan “Rocco” Villanti who ran it for a short while in 2016 under the same name. After closing to undergo interior renovations, the restaurant recently reopened again under a new name – Rocco’s Caddyshack. The revamped interior also includes a new chef, Industry Standard’s Greg Ling.
Open seven days for lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy coastal seafood fare, small bites, burgers, and more in a family-friendly setting. Try the tuna and avocado poke with nori, jalapeño, and sweet onion, pork and shrimp wontons with chili garlic sauce, chowders and gumbo, surf and turf, and lobster mac and cheese, among other comfort food dishes. Diners will also find a selection of 25 beers on tap including local craft selections, in addition to local wine on the menu. Hangout outside during the summer months to play cornhole and other outdoor games.
