Featuring three days of premieres, panels, and parties, the festival celebrates independent storytelling and emerging television talent. Seasoned veterans attending and speaking include the festival’s inaugural Canopy Award recipient Chris Noth (who didn’t swoon over him as Mr. Big in Sex and the City?), Hulu’s Difficult People star Julie Klausner, The Affair’s Sarah Treem, and more.
Locals are also taking the stage to host after parties that celebrate food and drink on the North Fork. Noah’s will host a VIP after party on Thursday following the world premiere screening of Greenport. On Awards Night, Friday, the Oyster Season Kick-Off Party will take place at Castello di Borghese Vineyard with live music by the HooDoo Loungers. For Saturday’s festival day finale, Greenport’s newly opened restaurant at The Sound View, The Halyard, will host the closing night party.
