Martha Clara Vineyard runs events throughout the off-season. Just one example is a 21 and older evening concert series that starts in January and ends in April, this year Saturday April 4. These shows usually sell out, so buy tickets early. The final show this year is White Wedding Band, an ’80s tribute band. April 18: VIP Winemaker for a Day
With some 50 vineyards and wineries, oenophiles have many interesting options every weekend. That said, a once-a-month off-season treat is Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard’s acclaimed winemaker-for-a-day event. Participants tour the winery, learn the winemaking process, taste Long Island varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. April 25: Earth Day Celebration
The North Fork is renowned for its natural beauty. We have many nature preserves, parks, beaches and agricultural open space, plus thriving and healthy bays, lakes and creeks. What better place to celebrate our planet? Join Group for the East End and many local organizations and businesses at the beautiful Downs Farm Preserve in Cutchogue. Hike the trails with the help of a knowledgeable naturalist, play nature-related games, create beautiful arts and crafts, listen to live music, purchase local artisanal products, enjoy live animal demonstrations and so much more. 10 am – 2 pm.
