NFRES: What is your team philosophy and what is it that sets you both apart from the others?
Scott & Amanda: We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service. With the two of us working together, one of us is always available to assist our clients and customers. We also make sure to be on top of the current market trends and have detailed knowledge of the inventory on the North Fork.
NFRES: What do you both like to do on the North Fork…after selling real estate of course?
Amanda: There are so many great restaurants to enjoy along with the great wine of course. One of my favorite things to do is watch the sun set on the Long Island Sound during all the seasons.
Scott: As chairman of the Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation, I get the opportunity to meet many great people who are interested in having top notch healthcare in the community.
NFRES: What is the best advice you can give a 2nd homebuyer when searching for a vacation home on the North Fork?
Scott & Amanda: Spend some time driving around and familiarizing yourself with the communities. There are so many wonderful neighborhoods to explore. This will give you a good indication of where you’d like to be and will help you narrow down your choices. And just for fun check out our great restaurants.
NFRES: Can you tell us about one of your more notable sales?
Scott & Amanda: The sale of a 7 acre commercial property on Main Road, Southold. This property was zoned for commercial use but also had an antique home on the property. Working together with a fellow Douglas Elliman agent we were able to structure a sale that both seller and buyer were thrilled with. Getting a property sold is terrific. Having the buyers and sellers feel great about the sale and the process is always our goal.
NFRES: If you could invite anyone to a dinner party, whom would you invite?
Amanda: Any one of the many famous comedians. I love to laugh, makes each day fun.
