What is the most challenging aspect of being a real estate agent for you?
To the majority of Americans, a home is their most valuable asset. My utmost obligation is to ensure each client retain the highest value when selling their home. The marketability of a home is determined by an always changing supply and the priority to secure the highest price for a home requires an innate attention to the dynamics of real estate market trends. The process of providing services to meet the high level of expectations I set for myself and that any reasonable home owner deserves from their agent.
The North Fork is a unique market, would you agree and why?
A distinct characteristic that is often overshadowed by the tranquil beauty that sweeping rows of viniferous grapes exhibit is the imperceptible culture among residents on the North Fork. The foundation of this now internationally renowned wine region, was conceived from an agricultural experiment which a handful of wine enthusiasts relocated from a garage and backyard to an actual plot of land.
What is a typical day like in real estate for you?
I’m up at 5:50 am, followed by coffee, the news and making a list of people to call, emails to write, appointments to make, listings to update, statistics to read, homes to research, criteria to meet, events to plan, and then I get to the office and strategic planning, relationship management and a multitude of decisions are executed.
What is the most personally satisfying part of your work?
The instant, before a single word can be uttered, when looking at the expression written across my client’s face of pure satisfaction; seeing in their eyes the realization that all of the long hours and late nights at work have allowed the dream of owning this home to become a reality. The fulfillment of finding a home suited to their every desire. It is a reward greater than any other. This brief experience is both satisfying and powerful, distinct from all others.
