This Saturday, May 26 from 12 to 3 p.m. the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund will host the 10th Annual New Suffolk Chowderfest to celebrate the area’s maritime heritage and shellfish bounty of Peconic Bay. Families are invited to enjoy a variety of local chowders, barbecue lunch, activities for kids including face painting and clamshell art, live music by Who Are Those Guys, and raffle prizes. Tickets are $25 for ages 12+, $5 for ages six to 11, and free for kids under age 5.

Chowders will include New England clam chowder, Long Island clam chowder, bacon and corn chowder, and a vegetarian corn chowder. Case’s Place in New Suffolk will also donate samples of Manhattan clam chowder for attendees. Proceeds will go toward the continuing of the historic New Suffolk Waterfront property. Advance ticket purchase is suggested. Learn more by clicking here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
